IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Can I breed my puppy?
No. All of our puppies are sold on AKC Limited registrations and a contract that states they cannot be bred. Females are to be spayed after their first heat and males are to be neutered after age 2.
  • Can I come visit?
Absolutely. We require that you come visit at least one time after the puppies are 3 weeks old. We think this is important because we want to get to know you and your family so we can match the best possible puppy to your lifestyle. Our puppies hold a big place in our heart and we want to ensure they have the very best of homes.
  • Can I pick my puppy?
Nope. Everytime we breed a litter it is always our intention to keep a puppy for ourselves as well. We evaluate the puppies weekly based on structure and temperament and make final decisions at 8 weeks old. But, do not worry- we want to know all about what you are looking for in a puppy and the preferred sex you would like. We match puppies to families and encourage you to love them all when you come to visit.
  • Where are your puppies raised?
Our puppies are raised in our home, more specifically they are typically in the middle of all the action- our living room. As they get older they get to explore our 5 acres and play outside during the day in our outdoor puppy playground.
  • Do the parents have health clearances?
Yes, all parents have HIp, Elbow, Eye, and Heart clearances as specified by OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) and the GRCA ( Golden Retriever Club of America.
  • What are your thoughts on vaccines?
Core vaccines including Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus (DHP) and Rabies are administered as a series in puppies. (8, 12, and 16 weeks) I recommend boosting these vaccines at 16 months and then every 3 years. I personally titer test my adult dogs prior to vaccination to determine if the vaccine is even necessary at all. It’s important to administer vaccinations when pets are puppies-their young immune systems are still developing and need protection to stay healthy.
